Joanna Ly is a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care. She recently joined the team at Little Stars Pediatrics and is excited to begin this new chapter of her career in Texas.
Originally from California, Joanna was born and raised in the Bay Area before earning her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Her passion for pediatric care led her to Philadelphia, where she completed her Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) at the University of Pennsylvania. During that time, she gained invaluable experience working as a NICU nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) while completing her master’s program to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Joanna is passionate about providing high-quality, accessible care to children of all ages—from infancy through adolescence. She values building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, and believes in partnering with parents to guide and educate them through every stage of development. Joanna strives to create a consistent and supportive environment where she can provide preventive care and address a wide range of health concerns, helping children grow and thrive in every stage of life.
Joanna moved to Texas at the beginning of 2025 with her partner and their new puppy. She’s excited to explore the community, discover all the area has to offer, and build meaningful connections with local families.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys traveling, trying new foods, hiking, and cozy movie nights.
