Dr. Prag Dhanasekaran, MD.
Dr. Prag Dhanasekaran is a compassionate and board-certified pediatrician (FAAP) with over 11 years of experience in caring for children. Her passion for pediatrics began during her medical training at Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, India, and led her to earn a Diploma in Child Health from Stanley Medical College.
After practicing in India, she moved to the U.S. to continue her medical journey, completing her pediatric residency at Harlem Medical Center in New York City. Now based in Texas, she brings her expertise and deep love for children to her own clinic, after years of experience in private practice. Dr. Prag has a special interest in caring for children with special needs and is known for her gentle, family-centered approach. Outside the clinic, she enjoys a vibrant family life with her supportive husband and two daughters. Together, they love traveling, watching movies, playing and board games.
Dr. Prag is fluent in English, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam, which allows her to connect with a diverse community of families.

Arianna Colbert, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC
Hi! I’m Arianna, a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner excited to care for the amazing kids and families in our community. I’m a proud Texas native who grew up near the Cowboys’ Stadium and have lived here most of my life.
I earned both my Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington (BSN ’21, MSN ’25). Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse with Baylor Scott & White, gaining hands-on experience with patients in a busy hospital setting.
My goal is to make every visit a positive, comfortable experience for both kids and parents. I love connecting with children, answering parents’ questions, and helping families feel confident about their child’s health and development.
Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me enjoying a movie, watching racing, or taking a peaceful walk on a nearby nature trail.

Joanna Ly, BSN, MSN, CPNP-PC
Joanna Ly is a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care. She recently joined the team at Little Stars Pediatrics and is excited to begin this new chapter of her career in Texas.
Originally from California, Joanna was born and raised in the Bay Area before earning her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Her passion for pediatric care led her to Philadelphia, where she completed her Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) at the University of Pennsylvania. During that time, she gained invaluable experience working as a NICU nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) while completing her master’s program to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Joanna is passionate about providing high-quality, accessible care to children of all ages—from infancy through adolescence. She values building strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, and believes in partnering with parents to guide and educate them through every stage of development. Joanna strives to create a consistent and supportive environment where she can provide preventive care and address a wide range of health concerns, helping children grow and thrive in every stage of life.
In addition to her role at Little Stars Pediatrics, Joanna continues to care for the tiniest patients as a NICU nurse. This dual role allows her to stay closely connected to both acute and primary care, further strengthening her skills and commitment to pediatric health.
Joanna moved to Texas at the beginning of 2025 with her partner and their new puppy. She’s excited to explore the community, discover all the area has to offer, and build meaningful connections with local families.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys traveling, trying new foods, hiking, and cozy movie nights.
